Dmitry has a rich educational background from the Moscow Conservatory, where he earned advanced degrees in orchestral and operatic conducting, composition, and music education.

He has contributed his expertise to international music festivals such as The Musical Offering, The Melodies of The Arctic, and The Days of Music on the Oder and has been involved in projects like The Stars of the XXI Century National Project.

 

With an illustrious repertoire of performances, Dmitry Polyakov has performed alongside symphonic ensembles including The Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, Frankfurt Brandenburg State Orchestra, and Castello Symphonic Orchestra, among others.

 

In 2022, Dmitry embarked on a new artistic journey in the United States. Currently, he serves as a guest conductor in Massachusetts. Prior to this role, Dmitry held the position of Chief Conductor in Scottsdale, Arizona, where his visionary leadership elevated the orchestra to new heights of musical excellence. His leadership marked by heightened attendance and sold-out performances, earning acclaim from both audiences and musicians alike.

 

While his passion for Tchaikovsky remains palpable, Dmitry's reverence extends to a diverse array of composers, including Beethoven, Brahms, Mahler, and others. His rendition of Beethoven's 9th Symphony in 2023, was lauded by the audience and featured in The Daily Independent.

After many years of performances with leading orchestras internationally, the Maestro arrived in the United States with his family in 2022. He joined one of the local orchestras in a small town in the state of Arizona and incredibly enhanced its sound, creating a series of unforgettable concerts.
